Can't afford medical school in the United States?

I want to connect with people who are struggling to pay for medical school and who don't qualify for federal loans. For e.g. international students who have been accepted into U.S. medical schools but are unable to attend because they don't qualify for federal loans.

Is there a solution? If you come from a financially disadvantaged family, the simple answer is no. Of course, there is an option of getting loans from private banks. The caveat is that you will require a U.S. based cosigner.

I would like to hear from others who have experience overcoming this situation and what solutions they recommend.
